Refreshing Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie

You might want to serve your guests and yourself this super refreshing and yummy strawberry yogurt smoothie, especially on hot summer days.

I like to do it with frozen strawberries, because it makes the smoothie even more refreshing and "icier", but fresh strawberries will taste well, too.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2/3 cup yogurt (natural flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4-5 whole strawberries for decoration

Directions:

Put strawberries, yogurt and sugar into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into longdrink glasses. Fill up to half of the glass.
Wash the blender quickly. (This is important, because you don't want to have rests of red color in the next liquid.)

Blend vanilla ice cream with milk until foamy. Pour carefully on top of the strawberry yogurt into the glasses.

Now you'll have an attractive two-colored strawberry smothie.

Bead the whole strawberries on a toothpick and deposit them carefully on top of the glasses for professional looking decoration.
