Summer Time Is Strawberry Slushie Time

Strawberries everywhere...even though the june harvest is over, there are nowadays so many everbearing strawberries that you can eat fresh berries at least until end of September.

In case you ran out of ideas what to do with them, here are two great recipes for healthy and refreshing strawberry drinks.

Strawberry Passion

Ingredients
* 6 fresh strawberries
* 1 cup fresh pineapple
* large handful of grapes
* sugar

Directions
Remove the skin from pineapple and cubed it.
Process the fruit in a blender. If the consistency is too thick for your liking, add some water.
Add sugar if necessary.

Strawberry Slushie

Ingredients
* 1/2 cup strawberries
* 1 cup ice
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 tablespoon maple syrup or sugar

Directions
Process all the ingredients except the maple syrup in a blender until the ice has turned to slush.

Add maple syrup or sugar to your liking.
