Strawberry Banana Mould

2 - 3 oz. size pkgs. strawberry flavored gelatin (Jello)

2 cups boiling water

1 - 10 oz. size pkg. frozen strawberries

1 cup cold water

2 medium size bananas

1 cup whipping cream


Dissolve the strawberry flavoured gelatin in boiling water.

Thaw the strawberries just enough to drain off 1 tbsp. juice (reserve the 1 tbsp. juice).

Add the semi-thawed strawberries to the gelatin.

Separate the strawberries using a fork, then stir to completely thaw the berries.

Add cold water, and chill in the refrigerator until partially set.

Peel bananas and slice crosswise into the gelatin. Stir gentl to distribute the fruit.

Pour mixture into a 6 1/2 cup mould.

Chill in the refrigerator until firm, then unmould and top with Strawberry Whipped Cream.


In a bowl, beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Stir in the reserved strawberry juice.

Serves 8 -10.
