Easy Fudge Recipes with Strawberries

Strawberry Fudge

Ingredients

- 12 ounces milk
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

Slice strawberries. Combine milk, sugar and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; boil. Stir in strawberries and lemon juice.

Keep stirring constantly. Cook until fudge reaches 234 F (use candy thermometer to monitor temperature).

Remove from heat and spread in buttered 8 by 10 inch pan. Let cool before cutting and serving.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Fudge

Ingredients

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 ounces milk
- 2 ounces strawberry syrup (or use fresh strawberries and mash them)
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate

Directions

Butter an 9 by 9 inch shallow baking pan.

Combine sugar, butter, milk and strawberry syrup into a large saucepan and place over low heat.

Stir constantly while bringing the mixture to a boil gently. Place candy thermometer in the saucepan and boil the mixture until it reaches 234 degrees F.

Take the pan off the heat and stir until the bubbles subside. Beat rapidly with a big spoon while mixture thickens and cools down. Pour the fudge into the prepared baking pan. Wait til completely cold.

Melt the chocolate and cut out the cold fudge with shape cutters. Dip into melted chocolate and place on a plate for serving.
