Curd Cheese with Strawberries

The curd cheese is a classic dessert recipe. You can either prepare with natural flavor or with most of the fruits and berries.

My favorite is - off course - the curd cheese with strawberries.

The curd cheese with strawberries is very flexible: if you don't have fresh strawberries, you can also use canned ones or even strawberry syrup. It'll taste almost the same.

And, it is a real diet dessert: if you use the low fat curd cheese, and add sweetener instead of sugar, it almost won't have any calories at all :-)

Ingredients:

- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 cup low fat curd cheese
- 1/2 lemon (or lemon juice)
- 1 package vanilla sugar
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons grated coco

Directions:

Blend one cup strawberries and the curd cheese in a blender till smooth. Add lemon juice, vanilla sugar and sugar. Taste and add more sugar if you like. Cut the other cup of fresh strawberries into small pieces.

Whip cream. Carefully mix whipped cream and cut strawberries with the curd cheese.

Pour into 4 glass bowls and decorate each bowl with a whole strawberry and the grated coco.

The curd cheese with strawberries can be eaten right away, or you can store it in the fridge for a few hours.

Serves: 4
