The Ezine For Every Strawberry Lover!January 18th, 2009 Issue #54 Hello, The beginning of a New Year is for most of us the time to start living by our resolutions to live a healthier more active live. To make it easier for you, I have prepared a strawberry recipe, that is low in calories and low in fat, yet super yummy!! These lime strawberries will make it easy for you to cut out all those goodies filled with chocolate and fat :-) By the way, this recipe is also suitable for diabetics. Lime Strawberries Use sweet and juicy strawberries for scooping this citrusy sour cream dip. The combination of sweet and sour makes it taste heavenly!
Ingredients
Makes 8 servings
Directions Stir together in a small bowl sour cream, powdered sugar, lime peel, and lime juice for lime dipping sauce. Cover tightly with plastic wrap. Wash strawberries but do not remove stems or caps. Drain strawberries on several layers of paper towels. Transfer to a covered storage container. Tote lime dipping sauce and strawberries in an insulated cooler with ice packs. Serve berries with lime dipping sauce. Enjoy!
