Issue # 48

Hello,

I'm a big fan of coffee and ice cream :-) And even better is to combine both of them for a heavenly Ice Coffee! Therefore I have tried and added strawberries to it and you'll be surprised. It is soooooo good.

Ice Coffee with Strawberries

Artful recipe that's easy and fast to prepare. It won't take you longer than 10 minutes, plus about 30 minutes cooling time in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coffee
  • 1 cup hot chocolate
  • 1/2 cup (150g) fresh strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream
Serves 2.

Directions
Prepare coffee and hot chocolate, put in fridge to let cool down and mix them.

Besprinkle strawberries with vanilla sugar and pour into two coffee glasses. (Mugs are ok as well, but it doesn't look as nice.)

Put one scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the strawberries (can be substituted with strawberry ice, or my favorite: coffee ice cream). Fill with cool coffee-chocolate mixture.

Top ice coffee with whipped cream and serve with a straw and a long spoon.

Enjoy!
